How to Apply for Housing
It is strongly encouraged that the student applying for housing be the one to actually complete the housing application. There will be questions in the application that only the student can answer.
The application process:
Please have your NUID and password ready to complete the application.
The Housing Application may be accessed here.
Follow the Online Payment Instructions on how to pay the room reservation fee.

New Students
January 15: New students may begin applying for Fall Housing
May 1: Priority deadline for new student housing assignments and LLCs
June 1: Housing assignments available to new incoming Fall students
August 1: All housing cancellations for new students must be complete
- Assignments will continue to be made throughout the summer on a rolling basis.
Returning Students
February 1: Housing Application Open
February - First Week - Room Selection Night!
February 10: Housing Selection Open for Returners
July 1: All housing cancellations must be complete to avoid fees
